Allan Grim is a writer from Florida. He has a developed professional career, but turns to writing in his free time as a creative outlet from the corporate world. 

The horror genre is his main interest and his writing is inspired by life events and the various media he consumes. His writing style is inspired by Shirley Jackson, Clive Barker, and Koji Suzuki.

His favorite written stories are Son of Celluloid and The Hellbound Heart (both written by Clive Barker), Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, The Mist by Stephen King, World War Z by Max Brooks, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson, Dark Water by Koji Suzuki, and The Haar by David Sodergren.

Allan’s favorite TV shows and films are The Twilight Zone, Suspiria (2018) and Bones and All (both directed by Luca Guadagnino), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), The Others (2001), Silent Hill (2006), The Fall of the House of Usher and Midnight Mass (both directed by Mike Flanagan), Nope (2022), Longlegs (2024), and Sharp Objects (based on the novel by Gillian Flynn). 

The video games that inspire him include Bioshock, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Fallout, Outlast, Dead Space, and Diablo.
